Tickets to Sun Tequila Tasting are $75 and are on sale now via ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available for $80 on the day of the event. Additionally, guests can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. A portion of ticket proceeds will go to support the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut. The Premier Patrón Patio is back this year with a special twist! Guests can enjoy an exclusive ticketed happy hour at the Earth Terrace before the party gets started at the Sun Tequila Tasting. Attendees will get VIP access to Patrón Gran Platinum, Gran Piedra, Gran Burdeos and El Cielo poured by expert brand ambassadors. Patrón’s custom VR set will also be available for guests to fully immerse themselves in the grand hacienda and explore. Festivities include a Summer Kick-Off party that unveils the Sun Patio Bar, and the return of popular outdoor summer concert series Party on the Sun Patio
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 4, 2023) – Summertime at Mohegan Sun is in full effect on the Sun Patio. The former Summer Entrance has been transformed into a 2,100 square-foot outdoor event space that is perfect for sunny days and warm summer nights. The star of the show is the elevated, 50 square-foot Sun Patio Bar, complete with six hi-definition screens (including two menu boards) and a full bar including six bartender stations. Regular hours for the Sun Patio Bar are Fridays from 5:00pm – 11:00pm, Saturdays from Noon – Midnight and Sundays from Noon – 9:00pm.
Those looking to be the first to party at the Sun Patio Bar can do so at the Summer Kick-Off on Saturday, May 27th. From 5:00pm – 8:00pm, delectable eats will be offered from Munchies, Bridge Market Pizza and Travelin’ Bones. Refreshing drink specials will also be available and electrifying live entertainment will be provided by local favorite band, Sugar. Complimentary fire pits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 100 guests to attend also receive a free drink, courtesy of Red Bull! Mohegan Sun’s Summer Kick-Off has free admission, and all guests must be 21+ with valid ID.
The Sun Patio is also the home of Mohegan Sun’s popular summer concert series, Party on the Sun Patio. Starting June 30th, and every Friday night through September 1st, the Sun Patio transforms into a breezy outdoor area where guests can dance the night away to live entertainment provided by local tribute bands. A rotating lineup of amazing food trucks will be offering tasty bites, and guests can quench their thirst with incredible cocktail and beverage specials. Make the night extra special with a VIP fire pit!
Party on the Sun Patio is a free event that takes place from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Doors open at 6:30pm and the bands start rockin’ at 8:00pm. Featured bands* for Party on the Sun Patio are as follows:

Guests must be 21+ with valid ID to attend Party on the Sun Patio. Fire pit reservations will open in June 2023. All fire pit reservations include a complimentary round of drinks for up to eight guests per reserved fire pit. Additional seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests are welcome to bring their own chairs. Coolers and outside food/beverages are not permitted. In the event of inclement weather, bands performing at Party on the Sun Patio will be moved to the Wolf Den. Decisions will be announced by 2:00pm the day of the event.
While the Sun Patio is open to the public, private parties can be booked for up to 2,000 guests. The Sun Patio Bar is also available for booking private parties of up to 300 guests. The Sun Patio is in the process of a multi-phase renovation with phase two starting in fall 2023.

The action gets started on Monday, June 27th where guests can take advantage of daily Momentum member promotions, thrilling special events, live entertainment in Mohegan Sun Arena, Wolf Den, and more through Friday, September 2nd.
HOT SUMMER FUN DAILY GIVEAWAYS
Momentum members can participate in a new promotion every day of the week! Guests can sign up for Mohegan Sun’s free rewards program at any Player’s Club booth on property.
On More Money Mondays, Momentum members can win their share of $10,000 cash! Every Monday from June 27th – August 29th, one Momentum member will be randomly selected every sixty minutes between 10:00am – 7:00pm to win $1,000 cash. That’s 10 winners every Monday! To enter, Momentum members can play their favorite slots, tables, stadium games or poker games in the Poker Room. All Momentum members must be present to win.
During Catchin’ Rays Tuesdays, Momentum members can go head-to-head with other members in their Status Level for up to $1,000 Momentum Dollars! After 25 years of Hot Summer Fun at Mohegan Sun, it’s only getting hotter! This summer, Mohegan Sun has your concert and live entertainment hookup for all types of fans! Mohegan Sun will bring the heat all summer long beginning with back-to-back New Kids on the Block shows in Mohegan Sun Arena to kick off the Fourth of July weekend.
From live music and comedy in Mohegan Sun Arena, Comix Roadhouse and novelle, free performances in the Wolf Den, to Party on the Patio and Connecticut Sun home games, there is no other place to experience a greater variety of entertainment all summer long. Major Refreshes to Sachem Lounge and the Summer Entrance are also beginning soon
UNCASVILLE, CT (April 14, 2022) – $15 million will be
invested on various projects that are now underway and planned at Mohegan Sun and Mohegan Sun Golf Club. By the end of this year, a new 6,500 square-foot VIP Lounge & Bar in Casino of the Earth will open and major renovations to Mohegan Sun’s two most luxurious suites (The Royal Suites) will be completed. Over the stretch of 3-years, significant course improvements will also take place at the award-winning Mohegan Sun Golf Club. Additionally, key updates to Sachem Lounge and the outdoor patio at Summer Entrance will soon begin.
With the aim of launching by late fall of this year, Mohegan Sun has started work on a new VIP Lounge & Bar to be located in Casino of the Earth. World-class architects and longtime Mohegan Sun partners, Rockwell Group, are contracted for this new venue that will stretch 6,500 square-feet and feature dining, a full bar and an alluring fireplace at the center of the venue. Rockwell Group is also working with the Mohegan Tribal cultural department to incorporate Mohegan influenced designs and elements through this new space, located next to BALLO Italian Kitchen & Bar. When complete, the VIP Lounge & Bar will offer a dramatic and elegant atmosphere, creating the backdrop for the perfect night out for Mohegan Sun’s Momentum VIP members. An additional food & beverage offering in Casino of the Earth will also be developed, with more information to be announced soon.
Upon completion of this new Lounge & Bar in Casino of the Earth, Mohegan Sun’s Sachem Lounge will also begin work on a renovation that will refresh and liven up this luxury food & beverage area inside Casino of the Sky.
A full revamp is also underway inside the Royal Suites, which are the two largest and most spectacular suites at the heights of Mohegan Sun’s Sky Tower. More than $3 million will be invested on these renovations that will undergo an extensive Fire & Water themed makeover. Both suites will be distinctively different to provide two unique luxury hotel experiences. Royal Suites at Mohegan Sun are 3,500 square-feet and home to two master bedrooms, two Jacuzzis, butler service, a large circular living room, panoramic views of the Thames River and more.
Major improvements are also coming to Mohegan Sun Golf Club (MSGC), the 18-hole Mohegan-owned championship golf course located in Baltic, CT and originally designed by the renowned Geoffrey Cornish. A 3-year multi-phase renovation will implement various redesigns and improvements across the course. More than $1 million is also being spent on brand-new John Deere turf equipment, which along with the course renovations, will improve efficiencies on maintenance and labor. Phase 1 is currently focused on eliminating select bunkers, improving dozens more and engaging in selective tree removal to help preserve the integrity of cart paths and improve turf coverage and quality.? Replacement trees will also be planted to create more strategic division amongst holes and to sustain the natural beauty of one of the most scenic and enjoyable courses in all of New England. An overarching goal of these renovations is to improve both pace-of-play and the overall golfing experience for all levels of play. Mohegan Sun Golf Club opens for the season on Friday, April 15th.
Furthermore, the partially covered patio outside at Mohegan Sun’s Summer Entrance, where tribute bands are booked throughout the summer as part of Hot Summer Fun, will undergo key upgrades this year and into 2023. Highlights of this project include the additions of a permanent outdoor bar, a deck, a music stage and a re-designed area dedicated to activities and lawn games.
Mohegan Sun will also soon announce exciting new additions to its lineup of restaurants, which currently consists of more than 40 offerings, including the popular TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge which opened last year.
