UNCASVILLE, CT (June 21, 2024)?–The summer is heating up at Mohegan Sun with a robust outdoor entertainment lineup featured at the Sun Patio. Located between the Riverview and Indian Summer Garages, the Sun Patio is back and better than ever with a brand-new look!?Soak in the summer weather in this open-air venue with delicious food and beverage specials that include the All in?Orange Whip Canned Cocktail and the Jackpot Juice Hazy IPA. Over 30 free live shows are scheduled at the new & improved Sun Patio with popular tribute concerts every Friday night from June 28th – late September, and the new outdoor Summer Concert Series brings big-time acts like Buckcherry on select weekend nights!
Party on the Sun Patio is back again during Hot Summer Fun with some of the best tribute bands the region has to offer. Over the course of 14 weeks, guests can get mouthwatering beverage specials while dancing to their favorite songs. Every Friday night, doors open at 6:30pm before bands get the party started at 8:00pm. VIP fire pit reservations are available and each fire pit includes a complimentary round of drinks, cocktail service, an Adirondak chair for each guest and a prime view of the stage. The multipurpose venue will also hold a Summer Concert Series that kicks off on Saturday, June 29th as Mike DelGuidice takes the stage at 8:00pm. The Sun Patio Concert Series ends after Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry plays on Saturday, September 21st. Guests taking in the back-to-back Phish concerts inside the award-winning Mohegan Sun Arena on July 23rd & 24th are encouraged to attend the Sun Patio Tailgate Party before the show, starting at 3:00pm each day. From 5:00pm – 9:00pm, guests can let loose at this epic, free bash with incredible vendors, delicious drink specials and delectable bites from food trucks like Hungry Lion, Newport Creamery and Farm to Sandwich. The Fake Experience is set to rock the brand-new Sun Patio Stage with fan favorite hits starting at 6:00pm. Wolf Den – Located in the center of the action in Casino of the Earth, the 300-seat Wolf Den offers free weekly entertainment for guests ages 21 years and older since its opening in 1996. Guests must be 21 years of age to enter the Wolf Den. Guests may line up no sooner than three hours before the show. Come early as limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. One person can hold four spots in line, but seats will only be given to those present at the time of seating.
Swing by Party on the Sun Patio for the best over 21 fun every Friday night during Hot Summer Fun from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. The Sun Patio will transform into a space where guests can enjoy drink specials, fire pits, food trucks, and yard games while listening to some of the best tribute bands around.
All guests must be 21 or older and have valid photo ID to attend Party on the Sun Patio. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, however, guests are welcome to bring their own chairs! Guests are not permitted to bring coolers or outside food/beverages. Bands and food trucks subject to change. Parties who reserve a fire pit can enjoy a complimentary first round of drinks for six to eight people per fire pit!
